Eco Drive

Completed

A gamified mobile app that helps people track and reduce the carbon footprint of their daily travel.

What I did
Designed a cross-platform mobile app (React Native, Firebase) that detects how people travel using GPS and motion sensors, calculates the emissions of each trip, and rewards greener choices with points, badges, leaderboards and community challenges.
What I learned
How to turn a behaviour problem into product features, why gamification and community drive change more than information alone, and how to write research for publication.
